How can we create safe environments for everyone?

Have you ever felt stuck as to how your organisation could improve practices and effectively respond to the emerging risks and issues of diverse children and young people?

Children and young people require access to information, support and feedback processes in ways that are culturally safe, accessible and easy to understand.  In particular, for the needs of children and young people with disability, from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those who identify as LGBTIQA+.

What will we learn?

This session will help in building participants understanding (via practical tools, tips and resources) of what cultural safety means and why it is important for the safety of a diverse range of children and young people.
